2019 Lexus ES 350 Rolls Off the Kentucky Production Line

Earlier this month, Lexus reported that the company's Georgetown, KY facility was producing the next-generation 2019 Lexus ES 350, and that the all-new vehicle would soon be arriving at dealerships across the country.

This new ES 350 is being built with the all-new Lexus Global Architecture platform, which allows the Kentucky facility's team members to build a car that's longer, lower and wider than ever. This more rigid chassis puts the wheels closer to the corners, while the overall vehicle delivers class-leading handling and the kind of power you want.

The Georgetown facility's team members spent more than 150,000 hours training to build this new ES model, with a focus on sensory training that allows team members to detect gap differences measured at as little as 0.3 millimeters -- about three sheets of paper -- even with their gloves on. The belief is that team members are better-suited than machines when it comes to relying on sight, touch, and sound when making judgments about the vehicle's craftsmanship standards.

The 2019 Lexus ES 350, which will be arriving at dealerships next month, includes class-leading active safety technologies, heightened performance, Apple CarPlay™ connectivity, and Amazon Alexa® car-to-home and home-to-car commands.
