The Flagship Lexus LS Sedan Earns Praise for its Interior Quality

Recently, Lexus announced that the redesigned Lexus LS sedan had been named to a spot on the prestigious Ward 10 Best Interiors list. The award, which was handed out at the Wards Auto Interiors Conference at Detroit's Cobo Center on May 30, honors the hard work that went into the model's revamp.

WardsAuto editors described the LS sedan's interior as having a "wow factor," with ambient lighting, swooping lines, hand-pleated door trim, patterned wood trim, and perforated seats all adding to a stunningly-beautiful and elegant interior.

Judges were lucky enough to test an LS 500 F Sport model for the better part of a week, allowing them time to become familiar with the sedan's ergonomics. The gauges, heads-up display, easy-to-access buttons, and advanced driver-assist safety systems drew praise, but credit for the award went to the artful use of metal bezels, use of soft-touch materials, and sweeping chrome strips.

With this award, the LS sedan joins the Lexus LC coupe as vehicles to have earned the recognition. The LC coupe was named to the 2017 list.
